Eco Print Journal: July 26, 2025 - 10am-3pm

Have you ever wanted to learn to eco print with leaves, plants and flowers? We will be using
water colour paper, plants and dyes to create a beautiful original journal. While the paper is
processing we will slow stitch a unique cover for your book. You will learn a basic binding
technique as well as various methods of printing with natural methods. Paper, fabric, ribbon
and embroidery floss will be provided. We will make a practice journal before you will
assemble your final project. Please bring along any leaves you’d like to print with, we will have
different types available at the class as well. Examples of items that print well are leaves of
roses, peony, blackberry, maple, eucalyptus, geranium, oak and onion skins. Please bring a
bone folder or knife, rubber gloves, ruler and pencil, and a basin or ice cream bucket to take
your creation home with you. The paper will still be damp and you will be able to finish your
journal at home. Looking forward to share this fun process with you!
